Arrival & Check-in

Your Parking space It's up to you 1:00 p.m. available, your Vacation home is available starting 4:00 p.m. Ready to move in.

Please let us know briefly—then we'll use our key box to hand over the keys. If you have a Parking space Once you've made your reservation, you can check in and check out on your own at any time using our self-service check-in/check-out kiosk.

Yes. The quickest way is to fill out the registration form online before you arrive—that way, everything will be ready when you get there, and you won't have to wait in line at check-in. Of course, you can also fill it out when you get there.

For each vacation home, we reserve 1 free parking space for a car (5 × 2.5 m). If you need an additional parking space, please contact us before your arrival—depending on availability, an additional parking space costs 5 EUR per night.

Cars and trailers may only be parked in the designated parking lots, not in the parking spaces. Since the parking lots are not located right next to the house, you can borrow a handcart from us to transport your luggage.

Very good, in fact. The Scharbeutz Train Station It's just a short walk away; the „Scharbeutz, Jugendherberge“ bus stop is about 500 meters away (bus lines 40 and 522).

If you let us know in advance, we'll be happy to pick you up from the train station or take you there. We appreciate your understanding if, depending on our workload, we are unable to offer this service on occasion.

Departure & Check-out

For vacation rentals, please contact us by 10:00 a.m. to share. Your Parking space is available to you until 11:00 a.m. available.

For Pitches Yes: Subject to availability and for a fee equal to the standard overnight rate, you can continue to use your space until the evening. Please inquire at least one day in advance—by phone or through the contact form.

In our Vacation Homes Unfortunately, a late check-out is not possible.

Before check-out, we ask you to do the following:

  • Close all windows
  • Turn on the dishwasher
  • Empty the refrigerator
  • Take out the trash

You can leave the key with us at reception.

You can pay any outstanding balances at checkout. We accept Cash, EC, Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, PayPal, and Sofortüberweisung.

Vacation homes

Your vacation home is available starting 4:00 p.m. Ready for check-in. On the day of departure, please vacate the house by 10:00 a.m. to release.

If you're arriving late, we'd be happy to use our key box upon request.

Our comforters are the standard size of 135 × 200 cm, and our pillows are 80 × 80 cm.

  • Bedding: 20 € per person per stay – includes a sheet for a single bed, as well as a duvet cover and a pillowcase
  • Towel Package: 15 € per person per stay – includes one large and one small towel
  • Laundry Package: 30 € per person per stay – includes bed linens and a towel package
  • Fitted sheets: €7.50 per stay – for double beds only
  • Crib: 20 € per stay
  • High Chair: 10 € per stay

It's best to book the required number of tickets before you arrive.

Yes. A Crib We'll provide you with one for €20 per stay, a High Chair for €10 per stay. It's best to let us know when you make your reservation.

Garbage bags, dishwasher tablets, and toilet paper are not included in the vacation home’s amenities—but we’ll of course provide you with a basic supply.

You can easily control the heating using the white, round knob above the dining table. It always displays the current room temperature. Turn it to the left to lower the temperature, and to the right to raise it.

Please note: The heating system can only warm your vacation home; it cannot cool the air inside. It is also important to make sure that the valves on the radiators are always turned on.

You'll find two types of safes in our accommodations.

Type 1: Open the safe using the PIN „0000“ and confirm with „C,“ then turn the handle to the right. Open the battery cover, press the green button (a yellow light will illuminate on the front), and set your personal code (3 to 8 digits); confirm with „C.“ Close the cover and turn the knob to the left. To open, enter your code, press „C,“ and turn the knob to the right.

Type 2: Open the safe and press the red button on the inside of the door near the hinges. After two beeps, the yellow LED will light up—you have 20 seconds. Enter your combination (3 to 8 digits) and confirm with „B.“ To open, enter the code and confirm with „B“; the green LED will light up, and you’ll have five seconds to turn the handle to the right.

Please do not use personal information, such as birthdays, for your code. If you enter the code incorrectly, you will hear three beeps—you will then have two more attempts.

An open fire is burning in the gel fireplace, and it must not be left unattended. As long as the fireplace is burning and the flame has not completely gone out, you should not leave the house or leave children unattended in the room.

When the device is running, it produces carbon dioxide, and the oxygen level in the room drops—so always make sure there is adequate ventilation. The smaller the room, the more often you should ventilate it.

Do not add fuel while the fireplace is burning or still hot, and never exceed the maximum fill level. Store the fuel in a tightly sealed container, in a dry place, and out of the reach of children.

No. Smoking is strictly prohibited in all public buildings and in the vacation homes. You are welcome to smoke on your campsite or patio.

Camping Sites & Camping

Your parking space will be available starting 1:00 p.m. available. On the day of departure, you can use it until 11:00 a.m. use.

Yes. Through our Check-in/Check-out Kiosks You can check in and out on your own at the campground even outside of business hours.

Electricity and water connections are located right at the campsite. Electricity is billed based on usage with 0.80 EUR per kWh billed.

There are trash containers at the entrance to the vacation park where you can dispose of your trash for free—please separate your trash properly.

There are two disposal stations for sewage tanks: one in the front area across from the reception desk and one in the rear area near the restroom building.

Lawn grids aren't particularly comfortable for dogs' paws—that's why we've put together this overview. The following campsites have lawn grids:

  • M001 through M018A
  • M023 through M025 (including M024A)
  • M043 through M049 (including M048A)
  • M072 through M075

On our RV sites You're welcome to camp. On the RV parking spaces Unfortunately, camping and spending the night in the awning are not permitted.

No, we deliberately don't offer long-term parking spaces—that way, every stay remains something special.

Yes. Subject to availability and for a fee equal to the standard overnight rate, you can continue to use your campsite until the evening. Please inquire at least one day in advance.

Food & Shopping

Yes—our restaurant Dune meadow is run by the Bebe family with a lot of passion.

Wednesday through Sunday You can expect a comprehensive selection of 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.: Bread roll service, breakfast buffet, lunch snacks, coffee and cake, and an evening menu. All dishes are also available for takeout. Special buffets are offered on select days.

Monday and Tuesday are rest days. You can find all current opening hours, menus, and events on the Dünenwiese website.

Yes—the bread roll delivery service is available even on days when the restaurant is closed. It's best to order your breakfast online in advance.

Yes, card payments are accepted for amounts of 10 euros possible.

Yes. Our 24/7 Vending Machine In the front area of the vacation park, you’ll find regional products from partner farmers in and around the town of Scharbeutz—ranging from fresh eggs and pasta from Eggsquisit’s mobile chicken coop in Wulfsdorf to honey, barbecue meat, and sunscreen.

Right next to the check-in/check-out kiosk, you'll find our ice cream machine, which Baltic Sea Ice Cream Factory – available around the clock and conveniently on a self-service basis.

Yes—at Tobi's Bike In Scharbeutz, you can rent bicycles and e-bikes for a daily fee. Booking is easy online, and if you wish, the bikes will be delivered directly to your vacation park: the evening before the first day of rental, and picked up on the evening of the last day of rental. A repair service is also available.

Yes, you have free Wi-Fi access throughout the entire vacation park. You'll receive the password at check-in.

For your electric or hybrid vehicles, you'll find the following next to the front desk two charging stations. You can easily use them with the „Reev“ app or by scanning the QR code on-site.

In our laundry room at the back of the vacation park, you can conveniently wash and dry your clothes using WeWash: Scan the QR code on the machine, reserve your preferred time, and pay directly online via PayPal or credit card. You'll receive a notification as soon as the transaction is complete.

If you visit us often, you can register with WeWash and even reserve machines in advance. Please note: You must bring your own detergent.

Our vacation park has a key card system that lets you open any doors that have been unlocked for you, 24 hours a day.

Yes—our guest lounge is open 24/7. There you’ll find a variety of board games, a cozy reading nook, and a play kitchen for kids. You can wash your dishes at one of the three sinks, and use the stovetops and ovens to prepare a feast for yourself and your loved ones.

Our beach areas and guest lounge are cleaned twice a day. If you’re ever not satisfied with the cleanliness, please let us know—we’ll take care of it as soon as possible.

Leisure & activity program

Nothing—as a guest, you can take our courses for free.

The classes take place during the peak season. Yoga on the beach with Tina from Yogacoast starts on Fridays at 8:30 a.m., and there’s also a TRX workout for those who prefer a more intense workout, among other activities.

Please register at least one day in advance—no later than 6:00 p.m. the day before—using the registration form. We will send you a confirmation via email.

Our playground is surrounded by greenery, set back from the street, and is open at all times. The climbing frame and bouncy cushions offer plenty of fun; you can have exciting matches on the foosball table and at the ping-pong table; and you can test your balance on the slackline. Various pieces of fitness equipment are also available.

Want to try your hand at a craft project? Feel free to stop by our reception desk and pick up the materials you need to make an amber bracelet or necklace—they’re free, and instructions are included.

Vacation with dog

The fee is 8 € per dog per night in the vacation home and 4 € per dog per night on the campsite.

Yes, dogs must be kept on a leash throughout the entire park. And it goes without saying that you should clean up after your furry friend and not leave them unattended—not even inside the building. You’ll find free poop bags at several locations throughout the park.

Dogs are welcome on all campsites and in specially marked vacation homes. Please keep this in mind when booking—you can also specify the number of dogs, which varies depending on the vacation home.

Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed on beds, sofas, or chairs.

Yes—next to the playground, you'll find a Fenced-in dog run, including an agility course. After your trip to the beach, you can bring your furry friends to our Dog Shower Hose it down at the rear restroom building.

Just a short walk toward Haffkrug—and there's the dog beach Beach Section 31 (about 0.15 km).

Dogs are welcome in the dune meadow on the outdoor terrace. Water is available.

Yes, of course—you can borrow a food or water bowl at our front desk.

In case of an emergency: the Dr. Meyer's Small Animal Clinic in the center of Scharbeutz, about 2.8 km away.

We are open every day, 365 days a year, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. We're here for you personally. In case of an emergency, you can also reach us by phone outside of business hours.

The Baltic Sea Card is the perfect companion for your vacation: It offers you numerous benefits in the region—from discounted museum admission to free beach access—and can be used as a 1-euro bus ticket.

You will receive it upon arrival after paying the visitor's tax.

The „Scharbeutz, Jugendherberge“ bus stop is only 500 meters away. From there, you can take bus lines 40 and 522 Travel comfortably from A to B—your Ostseecard serves as a 1-euro transit ticket. Scharbeutz Station is also just a short walk away.
